Thanks for that and I'll have a look but have to admit that after two days solid on air, I'm all commented out. Interviewed Henry Kissenger - arsehole. We binned the whole thing. Senile or deliberately obtuse I dunno but he was despicable. 12 minutes on tape - didn't use a single word. Did Robert McNamara too and he was refreshingly interesting for an 83 yr old guy with a history. Actually rather good and the only American I've heard who said " we've got to sort out Israel, deal with the fact that the Islamic world hates us, not just bomb them to smithereens." I think I'm supposed to be all excited about the coming war, I'm not. I was asked to go to Washington today and I said no. My journalistic instincts are telling me I don't have to be part of the pack and that my health and sanity (not at their best at the moment) come first. It's confirmed - I have no ambition but I do have a life. Probably good news. This madness will pass, we will come out the other side. I do hope NYC manages to get Rudy to stay on an extra term though - now that would be a story and one I'd enjoy keep me posted love C ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mark Zip" To: Sent: Monday, September 17, 2001 2:50 AM Subject: blog > hey babe, > some of the responses to my polemic have said that a reading list might be > interesting. folks would like to see what others have to say. also got a > number of requests for outside links > there is a slim start to a blog at > http://zipsziggurat.blogspot.com/ > > comments and suggested links welcome as always. if you have stuff to post, > let me know > > love > mark > > >
