We Buy! selling us collections of classical, jazz, lps, cds,: how and what we buySelling Us A Collection: How and What We Buy
Our current focus is mostly on CDs. We are always in the market for collections of classical and jazz CDs. In general, the larger the collection, the better. We will of course look at small collections also. We travel for large collections. Pricing is based on our current stock, our search list and the proportion of rare, deleted, major label, import and independent releases.

As to LPs, we are buying very selectively, mostly for our want-list and search service. We invite lists (including record company and catalog number) of classical and jazz LPs, especially material from the 1940's through 1960's. We are not seeking the kinds of LPs we can't sell (mostly classical LPs of the 1970's and 80's, although not all of them). If you have any doubts about the material we buy, we invite your inquiries. Condition is extremely important in our purchases of LPs.

Unlike some classical record dealers, we are not limited to "audiophile" records, although of course we buy those also. Our long experience and large want list enable us to buy many records that don't interest other dealers.

Please INCLUDE YOUR REGULAR MAILING ADDRESS with any inquiries..
